Poppie lives on 34th Ave in Madrona, in the same building as Smallish Photo Studio. Same love of photography, two different experiences. Smallish is classic portraits, beautifully printed. Poppie is color and confetti and the best birthday you've ever had.
Poppie isn't just a shop. It's a love letter to every passing year.
Some people are just wired to celebrate. To plan the party, hang the balloons, insist everyone sings even when the birthday person says they don't want a fuss.

For ten years I've photographed families at Smallish Photo Studio, right here in this building. First birthdays, wobbly first steps, kids who grew up faster than anyone expected. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with birthdays. One person, their year, and a belief that every year is a big deal.
That's why I built Poppie. A birthday boutique in Madrona where every birthday, from your first to your hundredth, gets celebrated properly. Balloons, candy, portraits, parties, gifts, and a team that loves a celebration as much as I do.
